Read my profile
One of the biggest advantages scammers have is that many, many people do not read profiles. They get so taken by that "good looking" guy or girl who sent them a message, they immediately focus on communication without even looking at the profile, checking the friends lists or comments/guest book for warnings or things that may seem "fishy" or just not right.

Mini View Profile looks fine but jump over to his profile and check it out. I think it is very weird and he has called me up and chatted with me seems great but I am questioning that profile

He got very upset whenever I mentioned his profile and told me to stay away from it so of course I had to look. I thought it was odd and sure enough he had scammer warnings all over it
Many times, you can view someone's profile and immediately know if they are a scammer or not. Does their profile look perfectly written with proper English, spelling and grammar but their message or chat is the exact opposite? Many scammers will copy from other profiles to build their own but it doesn't take long chatting with them to see the inconsistencies if you pay attention and do not ignore those small flags.
Scammers use so many profiles and change their information so much, a lot of times they can't keep up. Do they have an age, city, gender, etc. in their about me section that is different from their details or what they say in their message? Or does the about me section look like it could have been written by a female then changed to appear to be written by a male?

Try not to get so wrapped up in a picture of someone that you ignore inconsistencies, flags and warning signs
